Grant Request Summary
Woodstock Nursery School (WNS) has been welcoming local families for the past 70 years. WNS supports the education of our community’s youngest learners allowing families to live and work in the Village and surrounding areas. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our enrollment has dropped in half creating a large deficit in our income. Woodstock Nursery School it’s asking for 20,000$ to offer greater benefits to our teachers as they work harder than ever before to keep our children safe and to help cover the costs of our enrollment deficit to ensure WNS continues to be a viable and stable part of our community.

How will this project benefit the economic and community development of Woodstock?
Woodstock Nursery School is an essential part of our community, providing the high quality early education children and families deserve. Without WNS families would not be able to live, work, and be a contributing member of our community. We know that high quality early education is essential to supporting a child’s development and families need a safe place to send their children in order to live and work. Our proposal asks for 20,000$ to ensure a future for WNS, to offer benefits to our teachers, and to provide an essential need for the children and families in our community.
